Game Concept

Feral Space is intended as a side-scrolling, run-and-gun game for mobile devices.

Aliens have come to Earth and kidnapped every non-human life form. As a result, the Earth is beginning to destabilize. It’s up to Earth's last hope, a dog catcher named Sydney, to journey through space, chase down aliens, fight brainwashed animals, and save the planet. Along the way, players must survive the emptiness of space, powerful alien warriors, and Earth’s biggest, scariest, and most furr-ocious animals.

Players move through various levels collecting weapons, armor, traps, and upgrades to help them on their mission. While it’s essential to fight off feral animals, it’s equally as important to return them safely to earth which is why players have the option to use traps, suggesting that different techniques can be used to solve different levels.

Bark Dialogue

  • Create a variety of responses for players interacting with NPC characters.
  • Demonstrate action cue, engagement context, and character inflection.
  • Create a comedic game world that builds context and depth with player engagement
